Pan’s Lodge was founded by Carmen Evans, an interior designer and project manager for almost 20 years.
Her approach involves detailed research into historical elements, developing concept sketches into manufacturing drawings using the latest CAD software. Prototypes are created in specialist workshops as 2D page becomes 3D reality before her designs are implemented, perhaps in a Grade I Listed building or period townhouse.
Carmen is adept at building long-standing client relationships, and has worked with an extensive client base for more than ten years (beginning perhaps with a strap-work ceiling, then adding a plaster frieze, and later room panelling).
She now works increasingly with project managers or the client’s household staff, forging great partnerships based on a mutual commitment to excellence.
Carmen studied at the Winchester School of Art and Central St. Martins, London. As an associate lecturer, she later taught History of Interior Design for BA Hons undergraduates for the Built Environment at Southampton Solent University. She is former South Coast manager of the British Institute of Interior Design.
